Nikko 2013

We had a brief trip up to Nikko, in the Tochigi prefecture about 2 and a half hours north of Tokyo. Simply spectacular countryside and views, although it was quite chilly. We made a visit to the Yumoto snow festival, where there were several ice sculptures and ice candles. Well worth the visit.

Nikko Trip

Been a while between posts, and simply this has been due to laziness as there has been no shortage of material for me to post about.
Recently we went on a road trip to Nikko, stayed the night up there in a lovely Onsen, and took some time to take a look at the leaves as they started to turn colour.
